Case study
A sharper Google Ads setup, built around a single PMax campaign and a cleaner feed, turned wasted spend into a meaningful jump in revenue and conversion rate.
The challenge
Lurline Co's Google Ads account was leaking spend. The product feed wasn't optimised, campaigns weren't structured to focus budget where it mattered, and placements were eating into spend without driving qualified traffic.
Revenue and conversion rate had plateaued. The brand needed a leaner setup that put budget behind what actually converts, especially heading into key sale periods like BFCM.
Our approach
We started with the feed. Optimising product data and consolidating activity into a single PMax campaign meant Google's algorithm had cleaner signals to work with and one clear budget to optimise, instead of spend split thin across multiple overlapping campaigns.
We added placement exclusions to cut spend going to low-quality inventory, then pushed budgets hard during key sale periods like BFCM, backed by creative specifically built for Google's Discovery and YouTube placements rather than repurposed social assets.
Results
Tighter campaign structure and better-targeted creative drove total revenue up 64% and orders up 30%, while average order value grew 26% and MER improved 20%. On the Google Ads side specifically, revenue grew 64% on 37% more media spend, with ROAS up 20%.
